Allan o Diwn (Out of Tune) – Emyr ‘Himyrs’ Roberts, Theatr Bara Caws

Sioe yn llawn, nostalgia, hwyl, dychan,  canu a chwerthin yw cynhyrchiad diweddaraf Bara Caws – ‘ALLAN O DIWN’, a fydd yn teithio cymunedau Cymru o’r 4ydd o Fai hyd yr 2ail o Awst (gan ddiweddu yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Y Fenni).    Mae’r cynhyrchiad gan Emyr ‘Himyrs’ Roberts, sy’n un o ddynwaredwyr gorau Cymru, yn dilyn ei hanes o fod yn ddisgybl 6ed dosbarth oedd ‘allan o diwn’ â’r byd a’i bethau, at sefydlu un o grwpiau eiconig yr ‘80au, y Ficar, a’i galluogodd i wireddu ei freuddwyd, ffeindio’i lais, a throi’n berfformiwr proffesiynol.

Cawn gyfarfod a ‘wynebau cyfarwydd’ o’r sîn roc, ddoe a heddiw.  Mi fydd yn dod ag atgofion yn ôl i’r rhai oedd yn ifanc yn yr 80’au ac yn agoriad llygaid i’r rhai sydd rhy ifanc i gofio’r cyfnod.

Mi fydd yna fand byw yn teithio gyda’r sioe sydd yn cynnwys dau o feibion y dramodydd, sef Aled Emyr ac Ifan Emyr.  Y trydydd cerddor yw Carwyn Rhys.  Cyfarwyddir ‘Allan o Diwn’ gan Betsan Llwyd, cyfarwyddwr artistig Bara Caws.

Allan o Diwn (Out of Tune)

by Emyr ‘Himyrs’ Roberts

A one man show by one of Wales’s best mimics, capturing perfectly his story from being a troubled 6th form pupil, ‘out of tune’ with his surroundings, to establishing the iconic pop group, y Ficar, thus enabling him to realize his dream of finding his voice and making it as a professional performer. An exciting production combining music, parodies and impersonations, with the odd satirical comment on the Welsh rock scene.

Touring with ‘Allan o Diwn’ is a live band which includes two of Emyr’s sons – Aled Emyr and Ifan Emyr.  The third member of the band is Carwyn Rhys.

The production is directed by Bara Caws’ artistic director, Betsan Llwyd.

This nostalgic show will tour all over Wales from 4th May until 2nd of August, where it will finish at the  National Eisteddfod of Wales in Abergavenny.
