Tiger Bay tells the story of the industrialisation and diversification of Cardiff during the early 20th century and the hostility that ensued following the influx in foreign labour.
This Les Miserable-esque production was performed by a strong cast of talented actors who throughout managed to portray a vast palette of emotions, captivated the audience and guided us along the journey of each character in turn.
The performance, although mainly sung, was based on an excellent story, beautifully told, which kept me both thoroughly entertained and gripped from the offset. The musical score was terrific and the singing was both impeccable and stirring.
Overall, I loved the performance and would encourage anyone to go see as it was beautiful in all aspects.
