Tens of thousands of people joined in the fun in Big Splash 2018 on Saturday and Sunday and were entertained with more than a hundred street theatre performances from across the UK and beyond.
Highlights included the VR playground where people could experience a virtual world while swinging on an actual swing, the Strong Lady who managed to lift two grown men, Barracwda, an Afro Brazilian percussion band, parading up High Street and through the Newport arcades and tons of other acts.
There were also hand-on activities at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre including, Baby Raves, dance classes, arts and crafts and drumming workshops.
