American satirist and writer David Sedaris in Cardiff this summer

January 25, 2018 by

David Sedaris – one of America’s most distinguished humour writers and one of my ideal dinner guests in my dream life – will be performing at St David’s Hall in Cardiff on July 10th 2018.

The endearing BBC Radio 4 personality is a master of satire and has a highly observant style addressing the human condition, which is especially apparent in his latest book, Theft By Finding: Diaries (1977-2002)

Beloved for his personal essays and short stories, David Sedaris is also the author of the bestsellers Barrel FeverHolidays on IceNakedMe Talk Pretty One Day (which I laughed out loud at on public transport on more than one occasion), Dress Your Family in Corduroy and DenimWhen You Are Engulfed in FlamesLet’s Explore Diabetes with Owls and more.

The hugely popular host of BBC Radio 4 series Meet David Sedaris is certain to riff on a range of subjects in his inimitable way. Don’t miss this special chance to share an evening in his company. The last time I saw him, in Colston Hall in Bristol, my jaw ached for days afterwards. It’s guaranteed to be a great night.
