Orbit Theatre’s latest production is the perennially popular Broadway musical A Christmas Carol. This new production is at the New Theatre Cardiff from Tuesday 29 – Saturday 3 December.
Orbit Theatre is Cardiff’s no.1 amateur theatre company, having entertained audiences in the city for nearly five decades, and regularly receives acclaim for its productions. Their latest show is this much-loved family favourite created by Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical).
Charles Dickens’ ever popular tale tells of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. Scrooge is forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Will these spirits of the season persuade him to change “Bah, humbug” for “Merry Christmas”?
With memorable songs, falling snow, flying ghosts and a trip through the Dickensian streets of London, Orbit Theatre, presents the perfect seasonal treat for all the family.
A Christmas Carol is at the New Theatre on Tuesday 29 – Saturday 3 December 2016. Tickets are on sale now from £10.00 – £22.00*. For further details about the show or to book tickets visit www.newtheatrecardiff.co.uk or call the Box Office on (029) 2087 8889.
