£15 A pair of tickets for Flossy and Boo’s Curiosity Shop Tue 29 March:

Flossy and Boo have decided to run away from the circus to set up their own travelling Curiosity Shop, traversing the globe and collecting stories, songs and trinkets for their little cart.

Roll up! Roll up! See Flossy and Boo’s amazing (and rather unbelievable) tales! Hear the extraordinarily well-crafted-and-never-at-all-silly songs! Behold the extraordinary characters they have met along the way! With live original music, physical theatre and comedy, Flossy and Boo’s Curiosity Shop is an energetic, entertaining, interactive theatre show – there is something for everyone in Flossy and Boo’s rather peculiar world.

Fresh from an international tour and riding high on 4 and 5 star reviews, Flossy and Boo wheel their cart once more to Chapter Arts Centre to deliver their own fresh, funny, frantic brand of theatre.

£15. A pair of tickets for Tonight I’m Gonna Be The New Me (Made in China / Theatr Iolo) Fri 8 April

A woman takes to the stage. A man watches from the wings. They both wonder if their love will survive what’s about to happen.

Tonight I’m Gonna Be The New Me is an arresting physical endurance act that crashes headfirst into an impossibly true love story – and out the other side. It exposes how we perform our relationships amidst a reality that just won’t live up to what the movies promised.

Disarmingly honest and comically imagined, Tonight I’m Gonna Be The New Me pierces the bloody heart of our obsession with outlasting hardship. Intimate and startlingly immediate, it defies you to watch, in spite of yourself.

£10. One pair of tickets for Mr & Mrs Clark Smash It Up Wed 24 Feb: http://www.chapter.org/mr-and-mrs-clark-smash-it

In your hometown a symbol of equality, justice and freedom has been destroyed; a piece of art that stood for everything you know to be right. Its destruction makes way for a privately guarded shopping centre.  In collaboration with the Newport art activists Bosch and with the guidance of the artist Andre Stitt, Mr and Mrs Clark developed a timeline of performances in public spaces that now make up a theatre show. They call it Smash It Up.

Short-listed for the Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Smash It Up is a destructive plea for some cultural conservationism. It is a challenging demand for equality, for hope and for greater creative freedom and beyond all for an understanding and nurturing of the creative imagination.
