Wales Millennium Centre will be ready to present shows without social distancing in the Donald Gordon Theatre from 9 September.
This is in time for Welsh National Opera’s Autumn Season, with The Barber of Seville and Madam Butterfly.
The Centre said that customers for these performances, previously advertised as socially distanced, will be contacted directly.
A programme of activity for a range of audiences, including a socially distanced Cabaret Season, Your Voice: An Exhibition, Butetown Carnival have been happening during the Summer and the Teras street food and bar is open daily.
Some changes within the building to improve the facilities, and these will be completed in the months ahead.
Face masks are expected to be worn in performance spaces and when walking around the building, in line with Welsh Government recommendations.
