Slava’s SnowShow captivated the audience in its intimate setting at the historic New Theatre, Cardiff.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we were seated in the stalls but by the amount of confetti on the floor it became very clear there was some fun ahead!

The younger children were very quick to laugh out loud early on and, soon after, the rest of the audience became captivated and intrigued by the characters and fell in love with their quirkiness and charm.

Slava’s spider scene was definitely the highlight of the first half where it ended with the audience immersed and forced to let loose and get involved in passing down an enormous spiderweb over their heads!

After grabbing a drink during the interval we were surprised to return to the clowns engaging with the audience, causing chaos and laughter in the stalls – so be quick to get back to your seat so you don’t miss out on the fun!

After the interval, there is much more audience involvement that builds up very quickly to the immersive finale snowstorm made up of confetti, which almost blows you away! But don’t get up too quickly at the end – stay put and enjoy the balloon extravaganza!

New Theatre, Cardiff
