My husband and I took our three-year-old daughter to see Tall Stories’ fun-filled adaptation of Room on the Broom, the best-selling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
It was throughly engaging for not only the little ones in the audience at the New Theatre but also for the accompanying adults.
The children were quick engage with the cast when prompted from the stage – and particularly loved the dragon’s appearance off-stage towards the end of the 60 minute show.
The songs were also extremely catchy and drew you in so it make the performance that eve more enjoyable.
Judging by the audience’s engagement and the laughter throughout (from he adult too) this is a must see.
Is ether room on the broom for the witch and her cat and the itch-hikers they meet on the way? You’ll have to go to find out in this Olivier Award nominated show for everyone aged 3 and up.
