The musical Tiger Bay written by Michael Williams blew away the audience with outstanding performances from the cast. Tiger Bay is all about the people who lived and worked in the docklands in the early 20th century. The whole cast gave fantastic individual performances, portraying the characters brilliantly.
The musical was filled with singing and dancing, entertaining the audience the whole way through. With a long running time of three hours the cast still managed to captivate the audience with the power of the performance. The musical involved 31 musical numbers as well as amazing dance choreography.
Every song was passionately sung by every performer and even the young performers were great. Every song ended with loud applause from the audience.
Everyone who performed did well in my opinion and there were some who were extremely impressive; Vikki Bebb, Dom Hartley-Harris and John Owen-Jones.
Tiger Bay was an emotional and meaningful production and I would happily watch it again.
